Members of the VAR/ISV Program receive the following:

• 3 * 5 user OpenLink Data Access Driver Suite - Multi Tier Edition Server Packs on three nominated platforms to allow the development,maintenance and support of the product.
• OpenLink Lite users will receive a 20 user license for the nominated database.

Features In Detail:

The VAR/ISV Program includes three 5 user server packs for any of our supported platforms. This software is to allow your company to develop applications , support end users and to demonstrate to prospects. They are NOT for resale.

Each Server Pack includes the following:

• One OpenLink Request Broker for the selected platform
• One OpenLink Database Agent for the selected platform
• One 5 user license for the selected platform
• 16 & 32 bit MS Windows client and Macintosh Client.

Additional server packs are available for $US 250.00 each.
Additional database agents for platforms on which you already have an OpenLink Request Broker are available for $125.00 each

Private VAR/ISV newsgroup forum for Technical Support
To be implemented
To allow all VAR/ISV to discuss and raise technical issues relating to the OpenLink Software product suite and third party products. The Newsgroup is monitored by Partner Program Managers, OpenLink Software Consultants and Customer Support Staff.

On-Line Technical Support
With the new OpenLink Software On-Line support system (O.S.S.) you can register and monitor all your technical support calls from your Web Browser. This reduces the time and effort required to contact the OpenLink Software Customer Support desk using the telephone or fax. When a call is logged you are issued with a Call Reference Number.

Access To The OpenLink Software Knowledge Base

The OpenLink Knowledge base has been the internal store of much of the information about our product suite. We are currently producing a subset of this knowledge base and allowing are partners to access this.

Private WWW pages
To be implemented
All Programme members will be issued with a User Id and Password that will allow them access the OpenLink Software Partners WWW pages. These pages include advance viewing of product announcements, news releases, company changes and much more.

30% discount on all training attended by VAR/ISV partner staff
OpenLink Software through its Professional Services Department have been increasing the number of training courses which are available to end users. VAR/ISV Program Members are entitled to a 30% discount on the regular prices for your geographical region. Prices for training and consulting services will vary. Prices are listed in the Technical Services Document.

A full set of OpenLink Software Evaluation Products
OpenLink Software offers all prospective customers a free non-restrictive license which expires 30 days after initial download.

To be implemented - To allow all VAR/ISV members an ability to provide prospects without Internet Access or those requiring a personal touch we include a CD with all Multi Tier Edition and Single Tier (Lite) Edition Drivers for ODBC and JDBC? . Demonstration Licences are available in the OpenLink Software Partners WWW pages.

Company and product profiling in our quarterly newsletter - OpenLink Connection

To allow your Products and Services to be made available to OpenLink Software's existing customers and partners we will do a Company and Product Profile in our quarterly Newsletter.

Discount on the OpenLink products to be included as part of your software
Special versions of the OpenLink Drivers for ODBC and JDBC? adapted to work with your specified software. Discounts and other financial terms are negotiated on an individual company basis. Once the initial application has been approved we will arrange to discuss the other necessary terms and conditions.

Technical Services Document
This document expands on all the services OpenLink Software provides.

Contact Sheet
Every VAR/ISV Member is sent 2 copies of our contact sheet to complete. It contains a list of your contacts within our organizational structure and space for your corresponding representatives. Once completed a copy should be forwarded to your local OpenLink office.

Marketing
OpenLink Software will provide you with printed copies of their Product and Service Fact Sheets and white papers. Word templates will be provided to allow you the convenience of printing these materials as required. No alterations can be made to these materials.

Color brochures can be purchased from your closest OpenLink Office at cost.

OpenLink Software develops customer case studies. VAR/ISV Members who have interesting case studies can have them formally developed into OpenLink Software case studies.

There are also opportunities at Technology Fairs for our Members to be included on our Product Stand. There is a cost involved and this varies according to the event. This information is posted on the OpenLink Software Partners WWW pages.
