Partner Programs

# Five ways to put our data-access layer to work in your business.
*Pick the one that matches how you already sell.*

We’re committed to building relationships across the System Integrator, Developer, and Software Vendor communities — with a program shaped for how your business actually makes money, not a one-size-fits-all reseller form.

[See the Five Programs](#programs) [Talk to Partner Team](urn:osdi:sitecontact/)

VAR & Referral · ISV Discount · Developer Editions · Co-Marketing

**One partner program isn’t one size.** Resell as a VAR, build against developer editions, embed as an ISV, or simply co-market — pick the shape that matches how your business already sells.

Most vendors offer partners a single reseller agreement and call it a program. We run five, because a boutique consultancy, a software vendor embedding our drivers, and a systems integrator reselling Virtuoso on commission are not the same business — and shouldn’t sign the same contract.

Choose your shape

## Five programs, one underlying platform

Every program draws on the same thirty-year-old ODBC/JDBC/ADO.NET data-access layer and Virtuoso platform — only the commercial shape changes.

VIP

Virtuoso Integrated Business Partner

For systems integrators and consultancies doing application development, data integration, or consulting. Resell on a VAR or referral basis, with a listing in our partner directory.

**Benefits:** 90-day Virtuoso Commercial Edition developer license · discounted training · marketing exposure · technical support resources.

ISV

Independent Software Vendor Program

For vendors building solutions that need sophisticated data-access and integration middleware. Acquire our products at a discount, then resell as an add-on to your own customers.

**Benefits:** extended license period · marketing exposure · technical support resources · discounted training.

UDA Developer

ODBC / JDBC / ADO.NET Developer Program

For internal application development only — no resale. Acquire developer editions of our Data Access Drivers for building against, not shipping.

**Benefits:** technical support resources · marketing exposure · extended license period · discounted training.

Virtuoso Developer

Virtuoso Developer Program

The same internal-use-only shape as the UDA Developer Program, scoped to Virtuoso itself — for teams building against the platform, not reselling it.

**Benefits:** discounted training · technical support resources · marketing exposure.

Co-Marketing

Co-Marketing Program

The lightest-weight relationship: your product visibly offered alongside ours during business development, signaling compatibility en route to a joint sales recommendation.

**Benefits:** marketing exposure.

Not sure which one?

## How to choose

- **Reselling or referring deals?** → VIP.
- **Embedding our technology in your own product?** → ISV.
- **Building against our technology for internal use only, no resale?** → the UDA Developer Program or the Virtuoso Developer Program, depending which platform you’re building on.
- **Just want visible compatibility?** → Co-Marketing.

### Why partner with us — the facts

**Virtuoso already hosts public Data Spaces you can query yourself, right now** — DBpedia, the knowledge graph derived from Wikipedia that sits at the core of the [Linked Open Data cloud](https://lod-cloud.net/) Knowledge Graph collective, and the Publications Office of the European Union’s own Cellar repository, both running live, public SPARQL endpoints on Virtuoso, amongst many others. When a prospect asks whether this has been proven at scale, point them at either one — or at many others across the same Linked Open Data cloud.

**Partner network size:** OpenLink works with systems integrators, ISVs, and developers across [N countries / partner count]. *(Figures to be supplied from partner-program records — this page states nothing it cannot prove.)*

## The network behind the claim, fully explorable

80 real Virtuoso deployments across the Linked Open Data cloud — DBpedia and the EU Publications Office among them — modeled as a real OWL class hierarchy and rendered with OpenLink's own knowledge-graph explorer. Drag nodes, filter by type, search by name, click any node to open its real, live page.

Source: the LOD Cloud project’s own spreadsheet of running SPARQL endpoints, filtered to Virtuoso instances, de-duplicated by endpoint URL, and with the LOD Cloud Cache and all Bio2RDF-family entries (Bio2RDF itself and BioPortal, hosted under the same bio2rdf.org domain) excluded. Every node in this graph resolves to a real, live page on click — a dataset node opens its own SPARQL endpoint directly; the three class nodes (Virtuoso, Enterprise Edition, Open Source Edition) open Virtuoso’s real product homepage, pricing page, and GitHub source repository respectively.
