A collection of devices for inputing telephone numbers. Each instance of TelephoneKeypad contains at least 12 buttons, one for each digit 0-9, plus one marked * and one marked #. Unlike the NumericKeypad used as a computer input device, a TelephoneKeypad generally has the small numbers at the top. The buttons are typically arranged in four rows of three buttons apiece, from top to bottom as follows: 123 456 789 *0#. When one of these buttons is pressed, the keypad generates a tone consisting of two pitches sounding simultaneously. Each tone corresponds in the Dual-Tone MultiFrequency (DTMF) standard to a digit 0-9, the symbol * or #, or (on some keypads) a letter A-D.
