I have always believed that the Internet (and its web sub section) would ultimately empower individuals to the point where we have individual multimedia outlets (ala podcasting for audio)that leverage the power of network effects - way beyond our wildest imagination.

Imagine how this will change entertainment, mass communications, and our behaviour in general!

What would that old addage: "15 minutes of fame", imply, in 12-24 months time? Today, we know it implies mass media coverage (conventional TV or Radio, and to some degree weblogs of the text variety).
