Microsoft to license SCO Group Unix rights
Microsoft to license SCO Group Unix rights ZDNet May 19 2003 2:37AM ET Houston! We have a problem.
Note, that Bill Gates was an early backer of the Original SCO company (the one that licensed the AT&T UNIX license), and this was prior to SCO acquiring Unixware (the AT&T UNIX IP vehicle).  I think IBM and the other large Linux stake holders may have screwed up here, and Microsoft is going make this clearer in the not to distant future.
